Following petitions received against the ASP transfer of the Wennapuwa ASP Eric Perera happened, Public Security Minister Sarath Weerasekera said.
He gave these answers to MP Mujibur Rahaman as he explained 30 more police officers have been transferred together with Mr. Perera and he said why there is a issu concerning political engagement to the transfer.
He further added that new police officer had continued to doing the duties better than Mr. Perera and ASP Eric Perera is now attached to the Negombo police station.
