Due to this, the Ministry of Education and the Secretary to the Ministry of Education have rejected the recommendation given to the government by the National Institute of Education that students should be given 20 weeks before the GCE Advanced Level Examination, said Nagananda Kodithuwakku. He further requested the court to issue an order to the Minister of Education and the Secretary to the Ministry to give students 20 weeks prior to the relevant examination.
