The US Congress recognizes the Sri Lanka North-East as a Tamil homeland

The North and East province has been recognized by the American Congress as a Tamil homeland.

This recognition has been given by a resolution against Sri Lanka in the House of Commons.

Top government sources said that this was an unprecedented act of aggression against Sri Lanka. The proposal has been submitted to the Senate Committee.
