Nurses are on strike tomorrow

The All Ceylon Nurses Association states that they will engage in a trade union action from tomorrow morning. The General Secretary of the Association stated that the nurses working in the Corona treatment centres are engaged in this trade union action to protest against the failure to provide solutions to the problems they face. He said that although the authorities were informed about these problems, no proper solutions have been provided so far. He further stated that they will be engaged in a trade union action from tomorrow morning till the next day, by reporting sick leave.
Coupon system is going to introduce to vaccination program in Colombo District

A proposal has been submitted to the District Development Committee to introduce a coupon scheme for corona vaccination in the Colombo District today. This proposal was made by the Chairman of the District Coordinating Committee, Member of Parliament Pradeep Undugoda. Police are going to question the captain of the burnt ship

He was admitted to the IDH in Colombo due to a virus infection. He died while receiving treatment at the hospital. He was 60 years old at the time of his death. Sinopharm vaccine will not be given to Bangladesh for $ 10 – China
